Crossbow Restriction: The use of a crossbow in any MBRB hunt is limited to those 60 years of age and older or those who have a medically documented physical disability which precludes them from using traditional archery equipment or a compound bow. Hunters must also hunt from an elevated stand unless there is a medically-documented reason. Only a limited number of hunts are able to accommodate the use of a blind.

- PLEASE NOTE: 2025 was the last year that we accepted physical checks as a form of payment.
- We are now requiring that both the shop-signed testing form AND your target be included in the image when you submit your proficiency test.
- ALSO: All proficiency tests for the entire 2025 MBRB hunt season must be completed and uploaded by midnight on 9/7/25.
